Our Story

Counter Culture Gourmet is what happens when a rowdy soul finds an outlet in which to focus its frenetic energy.

Part cheeky, part brassy, but all professional.

Chef Tiffany has been in the service industry for over 15 years and brings countless ideas and top tier experience to the table. She brings a unique perspective to the culinary world and prides herself in delivering a clients vision with professionalism and moxie.

Never commonplace. Never mainstream. Always memorable.

When Chef Tiffany has been catering for the #1 Food Network show for the last couple of years, where does she go? She joins forces with the best service staff in town and bases her kitchen out of one of the best venues in town. The production side of the catering industry is highly demanding; this drives CCG productivity and standards to a new level.

Virginia Woolf

“One cannot think well, love well and sleep well if one has not dined well.”

Thomas Keller

“A recipe has no soul. You, as the cook, must bring soul to the recipe.”

Paul Prudhomme

“You don’t need a silver fork to eat good food.”

Taking Back the Kitchen

The art of the homemade meal is once again having its heyday. We are returning to the kitchen, not simply for sustenance, but for the JOY of creating.

We are here to encourage you to end fast food and to leave the high costs of fine dining behind. We want you to bring the restaurant home, into your own kitchen. We will teach you the foundations of cooking, so you can venture from the confinements of a recipe and experience the confidence of adding your own personal touch. (Leave out cilantro, use extra black pepper, make any substitutions that you desire!) Reap the supreme rewards of cooking for yourself and others!

Favorite Things to Cook

Eggs. One of natures best ingredients EVER.

Scallops. So simple — salt, pepper, butter, scallop. An ingredient where execution is key due to simplicity.

Meet The Team

We keep it simple. No big restaurant groups to go through.
